MY DREAM TEAM

A project is only as strong as its crew, and I've been fortunate to collaborate with some of the best in the industry. Here are a few of my favorite collaborators.

  • Eda Benjakul

    WRITER DIRECTOR PRODUCER

Eda and Marisa first met in Chiang Mai in 2013 working on the set of Food Network’s Extreme Chef. With mutual family connections, Eda and Marisa began to delve into their collective histories and have spent the past couple of years developing their historical fiction series set in 1960s Bangkok - Star of Siam. Eda is based in Los Angeles.

  • Michael DeMinico

    DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Michael grew up partially in Bangkok alongside some of Marisa’s closest friends and went on to study film and work in NYC. He now bounces between Brooklyn and Chiang Mai with projects taking him around the world. Together, they co-founded the Chiang Mai Filmmaker’s Collective and most recently collaborated on Studio Naenna.

  • Jonas Dept

    THE PIANOLOGIST

From muse to musician, Jonas has ignited inspiration in Marisa since they first met in Chiang Mai in 2010. A classically trained pianist from Belgium, Jonas has catapulted ‘out of the box’ and taken his art in so many directions including performance art collaborations with his partner and renowned Thai artist Oat Montien. Jonas has composed original scores for Marisa’s projects and together they have created several music videos featuring Jonas’ original soundscapes.

  • Alex Boyesen

    SOUND WIZARD

Alex is really the best in the business and Marisa’s lucky he even takes her calls when he’s working with the likes of Ron Howard and Juliette Binoche. He is able to give life to sound and compose soundtracks like no other! He also has a killer sense of humor and loves to weld in his down time.

What People Are Saying

“Marisa is an exceptionally talented photographer and filmmaker. I have worked with her on several projects with different clients and she always (over)delivers. On time. Within budget. She makes sure she understands the brief and can look at each project from both sides of the camera which is great.”

A confident, experienced and accomplished pair of hands to have in any creative producing role, as well as being great fun to be around and a lovely person... with all in the inside knowledge of every happening and cool bar, restaurant and coffee shop in Chiang Mai and well beyond to boot!”
